Athens Photo World: Digital Projections of Selected Sports Photos

Athens Photo World (APW) is bringing its Digital Projections Program, which presents selected works of photography via digital projections in Central Athens, to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

Every night from August 23 to September 4, a collection of sports photos by photographers from Greek and international press agencies will be projected on the wall at the end of the Canal, next to the terraced marble seating.

The projections include sports coverage photos from the archive of Yannis Behrakis; the international press agencies Reuters, Associated Press, European Pressphoto Agency; Greek agencies InTimeNews and Eurokinissi; and photographers Angelos Zymaras, Nikos J. Kallianiotis, Elias Marcou, Nikos Menoudarakos, Spyros Bakalis, Lefteris Partsalis, Dimitris Sideridis, and Byron Smith.
