Pavlina Voulgaraki is wrapping up her summer performance schedule with a celebratory concert at SNF Nostos, sweeping the audience away with her enchanting presence, atmospheric voice, vibrant energy, and influences drawn from everything she has loved.

On August 29, the Greek alternative pop and rock singer-songwriter will close the curtain on SNF Nostos 2021 with a set of songs that reflect our deeper psyches. It’s a celebration of unconditional life, where emotions flow freely, flooding and unlocking our true selves. As the artist has said, “We are miracles fashioned from trauma.”

In this concert, Pavlina Voulgaraki promises to take us on a musical journey, but also a journey of the soul. And as she says in her new song “Enikos,” with music by Giorgos Sabanis and lyrics by Antonis Pappas, “I fight unconditionally, I bite through umbilical cords; the tank is empty, and I’m gunning it at 200.” So, in defiance of selfishness and isolationism, we will join her in bringing down the wall of “I” to experience the harmony of “we.”

Pavlina Voulgaraki has collaborated with late Lavrentis Machairitsas, Dimitra Galani, Babis Stokas, Psarantonis, Panagiotis Kalantzopoulos, Yannis Kotsiras, Manolis Mitsias, Foteini Velesiotou, Foivos Delivorias, the Mikis Theodorakis Folk Orchestra, and others. Her discography consists of two personal collections, and six songs from her upcoming album have already been released, including the songwriter’s collaborations with Dimitra Galani and Nikos Portokaloglou, as well as with up-and-coming composers of a younger generation, such as Giorgos Kyriakos.
