Fotis Vasilopoulos studied psychology in Panteion University of Athens (BSc) and he completed his master degree studies in France as clinical psychologist (MSc). He holds a second Master Degree in “Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in Medical Settings”, at the Medical School of University of Athens.

He has worked as psychologist in palliative care units in France. In Greece, he has worked as psychologist and project coordinator in the humanitarian field and in emergency and post-disaster settings.

He currently works in EPAPSY «Franco Basaglia» Day Centre, as coordinator in the intensive home-based treatment team.

He has participated as speaker in many congresses and as author in research papers.

He is former member of the BoD of the Social Cooperative «Iliotropio» for the vocational rehabilitation of mental health users.

He is member of the BoD of the Greek branch of World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (WAPR).
