Christina Psarra is the General Director of the Greek Section of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), has been the Head of Humanitarian Programs and responsible of the Operations Research Unit of MSF in Brussels. He has many years of academic and professional experience, as he has coordinated and led emergency missions and their repercussions in Southeast African countries such as Malawi, Mozambique and Uganda, but also in Egypt, Ukraine, Turkey and Greece. Also, in the period 2015-2016, it coordinated search and rescue operations in the Aegean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Christina Psarra has also worked extensively with vulnerable populations in the urban environment. In Marseilles, she coordinated at the national level a pilot program to provide housing for the homeless with serious mental health problems. In Greece he designed and managed social welfare and health care programs and co-founded the "Refugees Welcome - Greece" project.

She has worked as a researcher with academic institutions and pan-European networks, such as the European Anti-Discrimination Network, has studied humanitarian intervention and access to medical care and has worked at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC, USA, with the special subject of the comparative study of refugee integration systems.

He studied Philosophy at the University of Athens and Social Policy at Panteion University. He holds an M.Sc. in NGOs and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and has been a Fellow of the Harvard Kennedy School's Strategic Management for NGO Leaders program. She has been trained as a negotiator at the US Peace Institute and is a graduate of the Jean Monnet European Center of Excellence. Christina was a Research Fellow at the University of Maryland and was awarded a Fullbright Fellowship.
