Common musical ground
On June 22, El Sistema Greece takes the stage at SNF Nostos 2026 with the El Sistema Greece Youth Orchestra, the El Sistema Greece Academy, and the El Sistema Greece Youth Choir for an anniversary concert dedicated to the power of collectivity, inclusion, and creative coexistence.
To celebrate 30 years since the founding of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and ten 10 years of El Sistema Greece, the concert highlights music as a driving force for social change. Children and young people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds come together on stage to form one ensemble. Through collaboration, they reveal music as common ground, a transition from the individual to the collective.
The repertoire brings different musical worlds into creative dialogue through classical and contemporary works that celebrate diversity and reflect the richness of our community. The stage transforms into a vibrant space of coexistence, where artistic excellence and social awareness meet and find expression through music.
During the concert, a specially designed interactive moment will invite the audience to actively participate, strengthening the sense of shared creation and collective ownership of the musical experience. This moment serves as a symbolic reminder of the importance of collective music-making and of ensembles as safe spaces for creativity and belonging.
The concert is not only a celebration of artistic expression, but also an affirmation of the belief that music can serve as a catalyst for social change, solidarity, and hope for the future.
