El Sistema Greece

El Sistema Greece offers free, high-quality music education to children and youth across Greece, fostering an inclusive community that celebrates diversity. Inspired by the renowned El Sistema Venezuela, it provides group-based music activities in diverse settings, including refugee facilities, shelters, after-school centers, and its main location in Kypseli, Athens. The program nurtures community, social inclusion, and personal growth through collective music practice, positively impacting students, their families, and society. Since its founding in 2016, over 3,500 young people aged 5-26 have benefited from El Sistema Greece’s initiatives and have made a lasting impact on their families and wider communities.

The intercultural music ensembles of El Sistema Greece offer a unique group music learning process based on the principles and innovative teaching practices of El Sistema Venezuela.
