David Cleaves
Head of Creative for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at argodesign
David Cleaves is Head of Creative for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at argodesign (a DXC company), where he leads the design of intelligent products, services, and emerging technologies across Europe. Based in Munich and Amsterdam, his work focuses on how humans interact with complex systems—from AI-driven platforms to embodied technologies.
David has led advanced user experience design for global brands including BMW Group, where he was responsible for future-facing interaction concepts spanning autonomous driving, in-car intelligent agents, and next-generation vehicle interfaces. His work bridges physical and digital design, exploring how behavior, personality, and interface design shape trust, usability, and emotional connection.
Originally from the United States, David has worked in Europe for over a decade, including leadership roles at frog. He holds degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and was a Fulbright fellow in Germany.
