Drew Duggan is Head of Tourism at Trinity College Dublin, where he leads the development of cultural and visitor experiences connected to the university’s historic collections and campus. With more than 25 years’ experience in tourism and cultural heritage, his work focuses on designing engaging ways for audiences to connect with place, history, and storytelling.
He recently led the development and launch of the Book of Kells Experience, an immersive exhibition that shares the story of Trinity’s Old Library and its collections while the historic Old Library Building and its Long Room prepares for a major conservation and redevelopment program.
Drew’s work sits at the intersection of heritage, visitor experience, and creative storytelling. He is currently completing a master’s degree in regenerative tourism, in which his research explores how tourism experiences can support heritage conservation while fostering meaningful connections between visitors and place.
