Marcelo Kimati Dias

Marcelo Kimati Dias is a psychiatrist and public health professor at the Federal University of Paraná, currently serving as Director of the Department of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs at Brazil’s Ministry of Health. With previous experience leading mental health policy at the municipal and federal levels, he has been closely engaged with advancing the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform and expanding community-based care.
