Mariam Dao

Mariam was born in Mali and moved to the United States with her parents when she was just six months old. She grew up in Harlem and stayed closely connected to her roots by visiting Mali every summer. Mariam graduated from Georgian Court University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing, along with a certificate in International Business.

Growing up between two cultures helped Mariam understand the differences in opportunities between children in the United States and those in Mali. This experience inspired her commitment to helping others and supporting the mission of the Care Club Foundation, which focuses on improving opportunities for children in Mali. Mariam believes strongly that a child’s circumstances should never define their future.
