SNF Nostos 2026 unveils the most the most exciting lineup of parallel happenings yet. Discover them below!

Mapping the SNF Journey: An interactive experience across 5,600+grants

What connects the thousands of SNF-supported projects around the globe? In this immersive, interactive installation that takes over the National Library of Greece's Book Castle, we’ll zoom out to look at the big picture of 30 years of grantmaking that sought to make positive impact on individuals and communities, across boundaries and borders.

You’ll want to experience it for yourself. Join the journey every day of SNF Nostos from 08:00 until 22:00!

Greek National Opera Ballet Performances

At SNF Nostos, all the world’s a stage, including this semi-truck. The Greek National Opera (GNO), our close partner of well over a decade, will be presenting special GNO Ballet performances all throughout the week, including A Streetcar Named Desire; To Have Been So Close So Many Times, an original work by GNO Artistic Director Giorgos Koumentakis; and Future Cargo, a co-production between the GNO and The Place in London that will feature sci-fi dance in a futuristic 40-foot semi truck.

Learn more about the performances and showtimes in our full Schedule.

The Trials of Atlas: An interactive play

The Trials of Atlas, a new play written for Nostos by Tällberg Foundation Chaiman Alan Stoga, positions the audience as the jury at Atlas’s trial. Your job is to listen to Atlas, consider the testimony of other AI agents as well as of human experts, consider the legal arguments, debate the issues, and then decide if Atlas, an AI system, is guilty of the crime of murder.

No one has ever tried to answer such a question. But our future depends on it.

Kafeneio tou Gianni: A digital detox space

For our non-Greek-speaking friends: yes, you guessed it, a Kafeneio is a traditional Greek coffee shop. And who is Giannis? Normally you might ask ChatGPT, but not here, where phones aren’t allowed. So grab a seat, start a chat—a real, live, in-person one—and see where the conversation takes you. The Kafeneio will be open throughout the week inside the Stavros Niarchos Park, as a place to connect, relax, laugh, share ideas, and shoot the breeze—all free from screens

SNF Nostos Cup

It’s a World Cup year in 2026, which means it’s only right that we host a soccer tournament of our own. All week long, the SNF Nostos Cup will bring teams together for friendly competition showcasing our spirit as much as skill.

Watch the finals and help us crown our champions. The stakes? Genuine, official, solid-gold bragging rights.

30 for 30: Next Gen Grants

Thirty years. Thirty grants. A new generation shaping what comes next.

To mark 30 years of SNF’s global grantmaking, its 30 for 30: Next Gen Grants activation is looking ahead to the next 30. Thirty grants of up to $30,000 each will be awarded to nonprofit organizations selected by the SNF Nostos Youth Advisory Council.

The Youth Advisory Council, a group of young people involved in helping shape SNF Nostos, will lead the process from start to finish. From identifying organizations to evaluating proposals and selecting the final grantees, they will determine where the focus should be and guide forward-looking grants.

The 30 grants selected will be announced on Friday, the “core” day of the SNF Nostos Conference, at Stavros Niarchos Hall, offering a glimpse of what the future of philanthropy could hold.
