Professor ZHU Feng is the Dean of the School of International Studies at Nanjing University and the Executive Director of the Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies at Nanjing University. Professor Zhu's research expertise includes China-US relations, security in the East Asian region, and maritime security in the South China Sea. He has held visiting scholar positions at several prestigious international academic institutions, including the Brookings Institution, the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in the United States. Currently, Professor Zhu serves as the Vice President of the China Association for International Studies and the Vice President of the Chinese Association for Japanese Studies. Professor Zhu Feng has published prolifically on these themes. His English publications include China’s Ascent: Power, Security and International Politics (co-edited with Prof. Robert Ross, Cornell University Press, 2008), and America, China and the Struggle for the World Order (co-edited with Prof. G. John Ikenbery and Prof. Wang Jisi, Macmillan, 2016).
