Engage

Swedish architect, educator and researcher

Jessica Lundin is a Swedish architect, educator, and researcher at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. Understanding design as a critical and exploratory form of inquiry, her work operates at the intersection of critical spatial practice and community-engaged design, examining spatial practices and architectural form through relational and more-than-human perspectives.

Through artistic, speculative, and participatory methods, as well as curatorial practice, she investigates how spatial justice are negotiated and made visible through architectural representation. She teaches architecture as an ethical and situated discipline grounded in critical reflection and relational engagement.

She has previously collaborated with Polymorf on the project Liminis, presented at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Architecture Biennale. Working collaboratively across research and design, her work has been exhibited internationally, including at AIA New York, Porto Design Biennale, and MAAT Museum. She previously practiced at the Lisbon-based studio Artéria – Humanizing Architecture.
