Architectural Designer, founding director of OZRUH, a London-based architectural design studio, Design Expert at Design Council Fellow of Royal Society of Arts

Levent Ozruh is an architectural designer working at the intersection of computational design, material research, advanced manufacturing, and open-ended architectural systems.

He is the founder and director of OZRUH, a London-based practice bridging ancient materiality in architecture with innovative design and manufacturing technologies through open-ended architectural systems that work with entropy.

Levent completed his undergraduate studies in architecture at the University of Edinburgh. He later earned a Master of Architecture with distinction from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. His academic and research work includes roles as a researcher at the MIT Senseable City Lab, Programme Director of the Moonshot Visiting School at the Architectural Association, Research Associate at the Bartlett, and previously Unit Master at the Bartlett.

His professional work spans computational design, digital fabrication and architectural research, including serving as lead designer on a lunar masterplan for the European Space Agency through his work at Hassell. There, he also contributed to the design of Orbital Reef, a commercial space station by Sierra Space and Blue Origin currently in development.

His material research focuses on the architectural applications of large-scale granular binder-jet 3D printing and the use of sustainable materials such as waste dust, recycled aggregates and low-carbon binders, exploring architecture as an evolving system rather than a static object.

OZRUH’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Barbican Centre, the Royal Academy of Arts and the London Design Festival. Levent is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Design Expert for the UK Design Council. Born in Istanbul, he lives and works in London.
