Marina Walker Guevara is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who has led and transformed newsrooms and philanthropic organizations globally.
Her work explores how investigative journalism and collaborative models interrogate power, shape public narratives and build trust.
As executive editor at the Pulitzer Center, Marina facilitates collaboration and innovation among journalists, technologists and civil society leaders on some of the most complex challenges facing society, including AI governance, environmental harms and the erosion of democracy.
She co-led the Panama Papers investigation and was instrumental in developing the model of large-scale media collaboration, persuading hundreds of reporters to work together, share resources and amplify their reach and impact.
At the Pulitzer Center, she founded the AI Accountability Network ahead of the generative AI boom to empower journalists to report on AI technologies with depth and independence.
